RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS RE-HOMED IN 2013

Below are brief details of Rhodesian Ridgebacks re-homed during 2013. We would like to offer our deepest thanks to all of their new owners for giving these boys and girls another chance.

These are the lucky ones but some are left behind; still seeking those special people to offer them another chance.

Could you be one of the special ones? If you think you could be please go to the Re-Homing Page for further details.

 Thank You.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks Re-Homed in 2013
N'Kosi - Has been re-homed!
Age 5 Years
Male

N'Kosi is a dog used to living outside in kennels. Bearing this in mind he may be in need of some house training. Other than that it would seem that he has no hangups.

Could you help N'Kosi?

Murphy - Has found his new home!
Age 8 Years
Male

It seems Murphy is another victim of the times.

We know little about him to date, save to say he needs a new and loving home.

Can you help Murphy?

Ruby - Has found her new home!
Age 2 Years
Female

Poor Ruby has not had the best start in life, already she has had two homes.

Her last owner took her on because she simply could not be left in the conditions in which she was living. Despite this she appears to have a sound temperament where people are concerned but not necessarily with dogs.

Ruby has probably suffered through a severe lack of socialisation and will need a lot of work and care from someone who will be with her all day. Are you that special person?

Anna - Has found her new home!
Age 14 months
Female

We are informed that Anna is somewhat nervy and afraid of other dogs, although apparently she is OK with a very young puppy that she is currently living with.

She will need an experienced handler who is prepared to spend time and work with her.

Milo - Great news, Milo is now able to stay in his own home!
Age 2 1/2 Years
Male

Due to a change in his owners circumstances, Milo is looking for a new home.

We are informed that he is good natured, good with children and has lived with cats. He is somewhat exuberant although can be a little anxious with other dogs when out.

Leo - Has been re-homed!
Age Approximately 9 Years
Male

Poor old Leo appears to be just another victim of the recession. A neutered male, he has been fine in the kennels but just needs a quiet home with a roaring fire (or radiator) to snooze in front of. Is your home suitably equipped??

Falco - Has found his new home!
Age 3 Years
Male

Due to a change in his owner's circumstances Falco is looking for a new home.

He is very confused at the kennels and will take time and work from his new owner. Hardly surprising really, particularly since his native tongue is Polish!

Do you have the time and patience to devote to this boy?

Zeus - Has found his new home!
Age Approximately 7 1/2 years
Male

We believe Zeus may well have experienced more than his share of trauma in his life, however in spite of this he is very good natured. He is still quite nervous but has never shown any malicious intent to anything while with us at the kennels. He will need a quiet household with someone who has lots of time and lots of patience. He is probably best described as an overgrown Bambi!

Kaiser - Has found his new home!
Age 18 months
Male

Handsome young Kaiser is a ridgeless boy. While in kennels he has seemed very friendly and of good temperament. However, we are told he is not good with small dogs in confined spaces.

Could you accommodate him?

Scooby - Has been re-homed by his owner
Age 7 Years
Neutered Male

Beau - Has been re-homed by her owner
Age 8 Years
Female

Scooby and Beau have lived happily together for a number of years. Both are good with children and visitors, although Scooby is wary of people he doesn't know. Beau is not good with other dogs and animals that she doesn't know.

Ideally we would like to re-home these two together, do you have room for them?
