Better late than never we'd like to give you the background story of how we came to adopt Molly.
MollyApparently the circumstances of how Molly came to find herself at the rescue centre were very sad. Her previous owner, through reasons unknown to us, found himself homeless. After leaving her in the kennels and searching fruitlessly for accommodation that would allow him to keep her, he reluctantly and tearfully left her with the capable staff at the kennels.

Another couple saw Molly before us and said that they'd take her, only to return her again after 2 weeks ' because she refused to play with their other dog! '

MollyAs soon as we saw Molly our first impression was just how huge she was, both for the breed and her girth! Obviously her previous owner loved her a little too much allowing her to gain too much weight. She greeted us with bounding enthusiasm and gleefully dragged us along on a short walk to see how we all got on. We both agreed there and then that she was the only one for us. She jumped straight into the car and installed herself deep in our hearts from that moment.

Over the past 9mths she has shown us just how well her previous owner brought her up, she tells us in plenty of time if she needs a call of nature, she'll do anything for a titbit of food immediately sitting and offering a huge paw on promise of a bit of sausage.

We've included 5 pics. 1st pic is after we'd had her just 1wk and we went to rescue day, 2nd is she loves rolling in the snow, 3rd is with the sheep, 4th she also like a good ol' roll in the hay (and the sheep poo!) and 5th She's looking down the road into the village to see if anyones around.

Fate brought us together and hopefully we have many more years to enjoy with her.

Many thanks from Sue & Barry Horner
