Fun Day 2013

Trust StallFun Day 2013 by Ann Gates

The Sunday 11th Aug saw supporters of the M & N Rescue fun day heading for the home of John & Cheryl Mackfall  for the 10th Anniversary of this popular event.
On the day all dogs are treated as honorary ridgebacks as lots of families have other breeds and all dogs are welcome.

The event is held in the Mackfall’s lovely garden and this is soon turned into a doggie city with all the tents, Gazebo’s and stalls selling items to raise money for rescue.
The trust also had their stall selling lots of doggie items

The raffle had lots of lovely prizes, guess the amount of coppers in a jar was won by Helen Winterburn who guess the nearest to the correct weight with £8.73.
This year we had several new families so it was lovely to see new faces, as well our regulars some who have supported us since the very first fun day. It was also lovely to see so many youngsters as they are the dog owners of tomorrow.
